Web-types or how to document the web
Thanks to TypeScript, everyone in the JavaScript community is getting more and more accustomed to good code completion, validation, and quick documentation in their IDEs. But there are limits to what you can do with TypeScript. I’d like to take you on a tour of our open-sourced project - Web Types - which is aimed at documenting the web stuff - HTML, CSS, Web Components, Vue, Angular, HTMX, FontAwesome, … you name it! Do you need to document complex patterns for bindings, combine CSS in HTML attributes, CSS icons, custom HTML attributes used by your framework, CSS pseudo selectors, or special CSS properties for your Web Component? It’s all a piece of cake with Web Types.
